Dale’s Certified Auto Repair Center
As a member shop of the Certified Auto Repair Center program, Dale’s Auto Care provides a nationwide warranty for their customers on all covered automotive repairs. Dale’s warrants that the repairs they perform from the list of repairs and services will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 24 months or 24,000 miles of use, whichever comes first. It is a limited warranty that applies only to vehicles used in normal, non-commercial use, and that have received reasonable and necessary maintenance.
Nationwide Warranty
Shops that participate in the Certified Auto Repair Center program honor the warranty. Participating service centers will contact the warranty program administrator directly for the customer to get authorization. In some circumstances non-participating shops throughout the United States may be given authorization to perform warranty repairs. In those situations, the owner will call the program administrator at 800.457.0019 before having any work done to get approval or referral to a shop for the repair work.
What is covered by the warranty?
The following types of services and repairs are covered within the limits of this warranty:
- Fuel system
- Brake systems
- Exhaust systems
- Ignition systems
- Air conditioning, heating and climate control systems
- Electronic engine management systems
- Engine cooling system
- Electrical system
- Cruise control
- Steering and suspension system
- CV joints, axles and driveshaft
Some items may be excluded under certain conditions. For full details, be sure to read the paragraph in the program brochure that covers “What is not Covered by this Warranty”.
24-Hour Roadside Assistance
The roadside assistance program provides the following services:
- Flat tire changing service
- Lock out service
- Towing and jump starts
- Fuel, oil, fluid and water delivery
Access to these eligible services requires the vehicle owner to call the 800 number for assistance.
How to obtain warranty service
If you are within 25 miles of the original certified auto repair center, you must return your vehicle to that shop for any warranty repairs. If you are more than 25 miles from the original repair facility, you must call the warranty administrator prior to getting any work performed.
If you are traveling and your vehicle becomes inoperable outside of the 25-mile area you may be eligible for other benefits like towing, rental car, or hotel services. Prior approval is required for any of these services and there are limitations on the covered dollar amounts. Always contact the warranty administrator for details.
