Dale's has maintained three of my vehicles for years. My 2003 Buick has over 330,000 miles and is still reliably used every week. Sam and his crew have done almost all the maintenance and repairs on the Buick. I never worry about being treated fairly or honestly at Dale's, it's just who they are, an how they treat customers.

Honest Reliable Service

Dale's Auto Care (DAC) has serviced the same 2 vehicles (bought in 2001) since 2004 (post warranty) and another vehicle since it was purchased in 2006. Since I tend to keep my vehicles a long time, I demand top-notch mechanic services...DAC fills that need to perfection! My vehicles have never broke down nor required any major repairs ever. I attribute this primarily due to DAC's thorough preventive maintenance services. I believe I have saved a large amount of money by keeping my vehicles for long periods and having DAC provide regular preventive maintenance. Several items I love about Dale's is; 1) work is done right the first time 2) they never sell you work that isn't needed, and 3) provide a significant savings when paying cash. Lastly, Customer satisfaction is number 1. Many businesses say this, DAC actually lives by this philosophy. I will forever be a DAC customer as long as I live in the Boise area.

  2. I have been going to Dale’s Auto Care for nearly 10 years. I have only had excellent service and high quality repair work completed. The service you get and the willingness of Sam and the rest of the staff to go the extra mile in explaining the repair to you is the best around. They only spend your money on needed repairs and will not do unnecessary work just to make an extra dollar. Dealerships and other shops could learn from the value and expert service offered at Dale’s Auto Care. Shops like Dale’s are few and far between.

  3. Dale’s Auto Repair can’t be beat! Sam G. and staff are the greatest. I drove here from Wisconsin and was in Boise to assist with the fires. My truck needed some semi-major repairs before it could be utilized and Sam and workers were a tremendous help by getting me back on the road at the earliest possible moment. One gave my a ride back to my motel and another came in hours early to start repairing my truck knowing that I was on call. His prices were fair, his advise was honest and to the point and I was lucky to find Sam and his boys to help me out. Thanks again fellows!

I have been bringing all of my vehicles (cars and pickups) to Dale’s for a number of years and have never once had a problem or a concern that I was charged for work I did not need. On the contrary, Sam and the team have often exceeded my expectations by recommending ways to save money. And with a name like Dale’s they have to be great. 😉

  7. Our family lives about 5 blocks from Dale’s Auto Care. We first chose to take our vehicles to Sam because of the location of his shop to our home, but now we would take them no where else! We own 3 cars all over 10 years of age. Needless to say, they require a lot of maintenance to keep them all up and running. We have always received excellent service from Dale’s Auto Care. Sam is dependable and honest, and his prices are always fair. He works with us to keep our maintenance bills low, and at times has actually told us we can hold off on services we have scheduled because they are not yet necessary. Sam’s honesty is greatly appreciated and has made us customers for life! We highly recommend Dale’s Auto Care to anyone who is looking for a repair facility that treats you like family!

  9. A BIG THANK YOU TO DALE’S
    On our first day of our vacation, we were traveling from eastern Idaho to the Oregon coast. Stopping at the rest stop east of Boise, we could go no further with what seemed to be a serious electrical problem. I called Dale’s (others in the yellow pages did not answer or could not (would not) help (it was Thursday around noon); we were lucky they didn’t. Dale not only found us a wrecker that responded immediately and towed us to Dale’s, but we were diagnosed, battery was replaced, my car electrical system checked out, and we were on our way again after only TWO HOURS. That’s from the time we recognized the problem on the interstate! I have NEVER received better service anywhere. We were even assured no further problems should occur. Our vacation continued and went without a hitch.

  10. Sam has helped us out many many times over the years. One time Sam personally stayed after hours to repair my wife’s Subaru headlight which had been forced out of place by a deer. Rather than recommend replacing the light housing, which was cracked, he repaired the unit with melted plastic rod and put it back in place. His ‘possibly temporary’ fix has worked fine for two years. We wouldn’t go anywhere else! Dennis and Peggy

We don’t know how many times we have had our cars serviced over the years; however, we do know we have always gotten a guaranteed job done at a fair price. We don’t take our cars anywhere else!
